FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why should I drink Blue Spring Living Water?

Blue Spring Living Water is a great source of refreshing, natural water and is local to Alabama. Many people prefer natural spring water, and even more so when it’s from a small, locally-owned source. Blue Spring Living Water has a neutral pH value and naturally contains beneficial minerals like magnesium, silica, and calcium. Our water is routinely analyzed by two independent scientific laboratories to assure that no harmful chemicals or biological elements are contained in the water. These scientific tests check for the presence of hundreds of harmful chemicals and organic products to assure safety for our consumers. In every test performed (over many years), not one harmful element has ever been discovered in Blue Spring Living Water.

Where is Blue Spring Living Water located?

Blue Spring Living Water is located on a private family farm in Blountsville, Alabama, which is about 48 miles north of Birmingham. The Blue Spring (where our water comes from) is also located on the property, along with a small store. The best natural spring water in the United States comes right to you from a little town in Blount County Alabama.

How is Blue Spring Living Water purified and bottled?

The first step in the bottling process is the water’s exit through the rock aquifer, which naturally purifies the water. To further assure the highest health standard for water to be consumed by humans, we pump the water into a holding tank and then through two separate .5 micron filters. The water then enters an ozone tank for a natural sterilization process, which naturally cleans and disinfects anything that may be in the bottle or cap. This is the most natural way to sterilize water without changing the water structure.

Why aren’t there nutrition labels on Blue Spring Living Water’s packaging?

Since our water is not processed -- nothing is stripped out and nothing is added in -- we don’t have anything to include on a nutrition label. Blue Spring Living Water is just water, naturally produced by a spring.

What natural minerals are in Blue Spring Living Water?

Calcium / Magnesium: Magnesium is important for bone formation. It helps assimilate calcium into the bone and plays a role in activating vitamin D in the kidneys. Vitamin D is also essential for healthy bones. Calcium and magnesium are important for maintaining bone health and preventing osteoporosis. Magnesium is necessary to maintain the health of muscles, including the heart, and for the transmission of electrical signals in the body.

Silica: Silica helps flush toxins out of the body. It takes the other naturally occurring minerals in the water and makes them bioavailable. Silica-rich water removes aluminum toxicity and also boosts body collagen. Silica-rich water also promotes softer skin, supple joints, stronger nails and deters hair loss.

What is the pH of Blue Spring Living Water?

A neutral pH value is important in drinking water. In general, water with a pH lower than 7 is considered acidic, and with a pH greater than 7 is considered basic. The pH of pure water is 7. Blue Spring Living Water has a pH balance of 7.2 consistently.
